Ko Olina has more real dining options than most people expect from a resort area this size, from casual happy hour spots to genuine fine dining. Most of it clusters in two places: Ko Olina Station, a small shopping center across from Aulani and the Four Seasons, and the resorts themselves, each with their own on-property restaurants.
Monkeypod Kitchen, in Ko Olina Station, is the most consistently recommended casual pick, wood-fired pizzas, a strong beer list, and one of the best happy hours in the resort area (roughly 3:30 to 5 PM, discounted apps and pizza). Longboards, at the Marriott, is a tiki-bar-style spot right on the water, a strong sunset-watching pick even if the dinner menu is more limited.
Roy's Ko Olina, on the golf course, is chef Roy Yamaguchi's Hawaiian fusion restaurant and has an Aloha Hour happy hour of its own. At the Four Seasons, Mina's Fish House and NOE Italian are the two upscale options, seafood-focused and southern Italian respectively. Longhi's, at the Marriott, is an Italian seafood and steakhouse with an ocean view, part of a Maui-founded family restaurant tradition dating to 1976.
Ko Olina Station also has Just Tacos, Island Vintage Coffee (the resort area's dedicated coffee shop), and a small grab-and-go market, useful for a fast breakfast or a snack between lagoon time and a boat tour.
Monkeypod Kitchen and Roy's Ko Olina are generally considered the two best, both running discounted food and drinks in the mid-afternoon.
Longboards, right on the water at the Marriott, is the most consistently recommended sunset-watching restaurant, even though its dinner menu is on the simpler side.
